Khushdil Shah, Pakistan’s discarded all-rounder, has played three international matche against India in total. Out of them, there were two T20Is and one ODI.
The T20Is were part of the Asia Cup 2022, with India winning one and Pakistan the other. Talking about the ODI, it was part of the Champions Trophy 2025. There, India won as well.
Yet, during a recent conversation with ARY Podcast, Khushdil seemed to behave as if he had short-term memory loss.
Khushdil Shah Opens Up On India Vs Pakistan Matches
Khushdil, now 31, while speaking about his mindset during India vs Pakistan matches, mentioned that they used to defeat India so easily when he was with the national side.
Adding to that, he alleged that match officials and umpires, led by the ICC, are biased towards India whenever they meet, leaving everyone in splits.
"Matches against India carry a few extra emotions & then the pressure eases a bit. When we were playing, we used to beat them as well. Things tend to go in their favour during matches. Umpiring decisions go in their favour, as do some dressing-room decisions & even matches are held according to their wishes. Despite all that, when Pakistan wins, it's especially enjoyable," Khushdil Shah said at ARY Podcast.
