India Women and Australia Women will be facing each other in the first ODI of their three-match series on February 24. The Indian Women’s team started off its multi-format tour of Australia by clinching the T20Is 2-1

The impending IND-W vs AUS-W ODI series marks the first-ever 50-overs international assignment for both sides since the conclusion of the 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup late last year.

Team India won the 2025 World Cup back home in November. In the semifinal of the tournament, the ‘Women in Blue’ stunned defending champions Australia in a historic chase at the DY Patil Stadium.

The two sides also crossed paths for a three-match ODI series in India back in September, with the hosts securing just a solitary win to avoid a home whitewash.

Apart from losing the home series to Australia, the Indian Women’s team has enjoyed considerable success in ODIs off late. They started off the year 2025 with a 3-0 win over Ireland in Rajkot, and sustained their dominance with a 2-1 series win in England in July.

Harmanpreet Kaur and co. also bagged the 2025 Sri Lanka Women’s ODI tri-series, blanking hosts in a one-sided final in Colombo. All in all, the India Women’s team has registered 15 wins and seven defeats from 22 completed ODI fixtures since January 2025.

Australia, on the other hand, won six matches in a row at the 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup in India late last year before losing the semifinal to India. Apart from the solitary setback at the showpiece event, the Australia Women’s team has not lost a single bilateral ODI series since blanking Ireland 2-0 away from home back in July 2023.

Since December 2024 itself, Australia has beaten fellow cricketing giants like New Zealand, England and India to clinch three successive series.

As India Women and Australia Women teams brace themselves for a potential cracker, here are all the details regarding the live streaming and live telecast of their first ODI of the three-match series.
