Imad Wasim has launched a scathing verbal attack on his ex-wife Sannia Ashfaq. It is worth noting that over the past several months, Sannia has made some serious allegations against her ex-husband.
Moreover, Sannia has also slammed the cricketer’s second wife, Nyla Raja. Defending his current wife from Sannia Ashfaq, Wasim took to his Instagram account and made their personal struggle public, and even indirectly threatened to take legal action against her.
Imad Wasim threatens ex-wife to distance herself from his family
Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim has threatened to take a legal action against his ex-wife Sannia Ashfaq. Taking to his Instagram account on Friday, June 26, the senior all-rounder claimed that his life with Sannia “is over”, and urged her to refrain from attacking his current family.
Wasim emphasised that his current wife, Nyla Raja, only came to his life after he filed for divorce with Sannia Ashfaq. The cricketer also issued an indirect threat, implying that he will take a legal action against her if she continues to make derogatory remarks about him or his family.

The Pakistan all-rounder wrote “I divorced you for my own reasons, and that chapter of my life is over. My life, my wife, and my family are no longer your concern. My wife has nothing to do with any issues between you and me.”
He added “She came into my life after I had already divorced you, so stop dragging her into something she was never a part of. It's time you accepted that reality, focused on your own life, and stopped creating public drama on a daily basis. This is the last time I'll be addressing this publicly.”
What happened between Imad Wasim and Sannia Ashfaq
Wasim married Sannia Ashfaq at the Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad way back in August 2019. The couple had two children, one daughter born in 2021 and a son born the following year.
However, Imad filed for divorce after six years of marriage, with several reports claiming that the two did not lead a healthy or happy relationship with each other.
At the time of the divorce, Sannia shared a message saying, “Sometimes the home wrecker succeeds. Karma still keeps records.”
The Pakistani cricketer later married Nyla Raja.
When Imad Wasim’s ex-wife made serious allegations against him
Earlier this year, Sannia Ashfaq accused Wasim of “cheating”, and even called him a “murderer” in an explosive Instagram post. She claimed that the cricketer forced her to abort her child in Lahore.
Moreover, Sannia referred to Wasim’s new wife, Nyla Raja, as a “homewrecker”.
She wrote “In December 2023, he got my child aborted in Lahore. He’s a murderer, and I have a video that proves it. He cheated on me.”
Furthermore, Sannia urged fans to boycott the Islamabad United franchise in PSL 2026 season for picking Imad Wasim in the team.
It is worth noting that in February this year, the star all-rounder already filed a case against his ex-wife, and denied all her allegations.
