KL Rahul to remain at Delhi Capitals, confirms franchise
KL Rahul will continue to remain at the Delhi Capitals franchise, as confirmed by team co-owner Parth Jindal. The recent development contradicts earlier reports which indicated that the elegant opening batter was being considered to be traded off to the KKR for next year’s IPL 2027 season.

Jindal took to X and praised Rahul for his selfless nature, and said that both the franchise and the cricketer still have “unfinished business” together.
Ishan Kishan slaps historic 270 in Duleep Trophy 2026 final
East Zone captain Ishan Kishan slapped 270 runs off just 334 balls against the South Zone in the final of the Duleep Trophy 2026 season in Chennai. Resuming his innings on Day 2 at 111*, the cricketer added 159 more runs to his total and concluded his innings with 30 boundaries and seven huge sixes.
Kishan’s tenth first-class century also helped the East Zone mount 708 runs in their first innings off 163 overs.
Fatima Sana punished by ICC for on-field incident vs India Women
Pakistan Women captain Fatima Sana has been fined 10 percent of her match fees for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct against India in match number nine of the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup in Dubai.
The incident occurred in the second over of the Indian innings, when Sana fired a send-off to Indian opening batter Shafali Verma. Pakistan also ended up losing the match by seven wickets with more than 11 overs to spare.
Hayley Matthews returns to Melbourne Renegades for WBBL 2026-27
West Indies captain Hayley Matthews is set to return to the Melbourne Renegades for the upcoming WBBL 2026-27 season in Australia. The legendary all-rounder was forced to miss the 2025-26 season late last year owing to an injury.
She has already played 38 matches for the Renegades between the years 2022 and 2025, scoring 832 runs in the process and picking up 37 wickets.
South Africa name squad for Australia ODI series
Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced a 16-player South Africa squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia. Kagiso Rabada will remain unavailable for the series owing to his injury, while Aiden Markram will miss the first ODI.
Temba Bavuma will captain the side, and he will be accompanied by fellow star performers like David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Matthew Breetzke, Gerald Coetzee, Quinton de Kock, Marco Jansen among others.
