The internet never misses a chance to stir the pot when it comes to Virat Kohli. Just days after his controversial on-field episode with Travis Head during the IPL 2026 clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad, a so-called “Virat Kohli mark sheet” suddenly started doing the rounds on social media.
Fans were quick to share the image. Some believed it instantly. Others smelled something fishy straight away and the whole thing spread like wildfire.
But the truth is that the viral image is FAKE.
Virat Kohli’s “aggressive” mark sheet goes viral
The image claims to show a “Player Registration & Evaluation Sheet” from West Delhi Cricket Academy from 2002. It includes details about a young Virat Kohli and lists remarks like:
- Fitness: “Satisfactory”
- Temperament: “Aggressive & determined”
- Overall: “Promising talent. Needs consistency”
That “aggressive” line especially grabbed attention online because fans linked it with Kohli’s recent heated behaviour against Travis Head in IPL 2026.
After RCB’s crushing 55-run defeat to SRH, cameras caught Kohli refusing to shake hands with Head during the post-match greetings. Head extended his hand, but Kohli walked past him cold as ice. The moment divided fans badly. Some backed Kohli’s aggressive attitude. Others felt the RCB star crossed the line.
Soon after, the old academy sheet popped up online, with many claiming, “See? Even as a kid he was aggressive.” That added fuel to the fire.

The viral document is not authentic
There is no official confirmation from Virat Kohli, West Delhi Cricket Academy, Rajkumar Sharma, or any verified cricket authority that this document is genuine.
In fact, several details in the image raise eyebrows. The formatting looks digitally altered. The handwriting appears inconsistent in multiple sections.
No verified source has produced the original document. The image has circulated online multiple times over the years in edited versions.
Most importantly, the image suddenly resurfacing right after the Virat Kohli Travis Head handshake controversy makes the timing look highly suspicious. It feels more like social media trying to cash in on a spicy narrative than an actual historical document.
Kohli’s aggression has always been public
Now let’s be honest. Kohli being aggressive is hardly breaking news. That fire in the belly is exactly what made him one of cricket’s biggest superstars. Be it celebrating wickets, staring down opponents, or wearing emotions on his sleeve, Kohli has never played the gentleman-only version of cricket.
That same intensity was visible again during the SRH vs RCB clash. Reports suggested that Travis Head exchanged words with Kohli after dismissing him for just 15 runs.
The Australian batter allegedly mocked the fact that Kohli got out before Head even needed to bowl at him. That jab clearly didn’t sit well with the RCB icon. By the time the handshake line arrived, the tension was still simmering.
Kohli focused on bigger battles ahead
While social media continues its never-ending drama, Kohli’s eyes will now be firmly locked on Qualifier 1.
RCB are set to face Gujarat Titans in Dharamsala on May 26. Kohli has already smashed 557 runs in 14 matches this season and remains in the hunt for the Orange Cap.
And knowing Kohli, he would rather answer critics with the bat than with Instagram stories or interviews. Because at the end of the day, when the chips are down, the man usually lets his willow do the talking.
