In yet another concerning incident for Mohsin Naqvi's PSL 2026, a video involving marquee overseas stars, David Warner and Moeen Ali, has gone viral on Thursday evening. The duo is seen exchanging some heated words after their 5-wicket win over the Rawalpindiz in Lahore.
Before the fight erupted, Moeen Ali had a forgettable outing with 0/13 from his solitary over in the match, followed by a run-a-ball 5 runs during a 199 chase. David Warner contributed with a 50 off 36, including six fours and a six, as the Karachi Kings went to the top of the table with three wins in three matches.
The post-match viral fight video between the pair spread like wildfire, and captain Warner had to issue a statement before any assumptions would derail their campaign.

The video in question shows the Karachi Kings captain, David Warner, approaching Moeen Ali aggressively after their PSL 2026 match and the team director trying to keep the pair away from each other.

However, hours after the clip made the rounds on the internet, Warner took to his X (formerly Twitter) to reveal the real reason behind the alleged fight with Moeen Ali. Breaking his silence, he revealed that he had instructed the team director, Haider Azhar, to first go and shake hands with the opposition after the win.

Just three matches into the season, they have already come halfway to the points tally of PSL 2025, with 6/6 points. So far, Azam Khan, with 102 runs in three innings at a strike rate of 170, is their leading run-scorer, followed by Warner at 93 runs at a strike rate of 138.80.
With the ball, the leader of the pack has been Hasan Ali, who has picked 8 wickets in 3 matches, conceding at just 6.33 runs per over, including the best figures of 4/27. Up next, they face the Peshawar Zalmi after a week-long break on April 9 to further strengthen their chances of playoff qualification.
