Kuldip Yadav and Gleeson replace Khaleel and Nuwan in CSK and RCB
The CSK franchise has named Kuldip Yadav as an injury replacement for fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed for the remainder of the IPL 2026 season. Similarly, England speedster and PSL star Richard Gleeson was roped in by defending champions RCB as a replacement for Sri Lanka speedster Nuwan Thushara.

Both Kuldip and Gleeson will be joining for a sum of Rs. 30 lakhs and Rs. 1.6 crores respectively.
SRH coach Simon Helmot joins Gulf Giants for ILT20 2026
SRH assistant coach Simon Helmot has been roped in by the Gulf Giants franchise. The Australian coaching veteran will now serve the Giants franchise as its head coach in the upcoming ILT20 2026 season.
Earlier this month during IPL 2026, Helmot had a discussion with Gulf Giants team owner in Ahmedabad.
Mushfiqur Rahim warns Babar Azam before BAN vs PAK Test
Bangladesh veteran Mushfiqur Rahim fired a warning shot at legendary Pakistan batter Babar Azam ahead of their series-deciding second Test in Sylhet. While speaking with the reporters, Mushfiqur implied that Babar’s return to the Pakistan team will not matter for Bangladesh, as they have already beaten the ‘Men in Green’ in the presence of the senior batter.
Babar was ruled out of the first Test owing to an injury, and is now set to make his return to the playing XI for the second match.
Mumbai Indians coach Kieron Pollard fined by BCCI
Mumbai Indians batting coach Kieron Pollard has been fined 15 percent of his match fees by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The legendary West Indies T20 all-rounder also accumulated one demerit point for breaching Level 1 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct for Players and Team officials.
Pollard’s breach relates to an incident that occurred during Mumbai Indians’ away match against Punjab Kings.
Fatima Sana slaps record Women’s T20I fifty vs ZIM
Pakistan Women skipper Fatima Sana blasted 62* runs off just 19 balls against Zimbabwe in the third T20I of their three-match series in Karachi. The middle-order batter raced to her half-century from just 15 balls, thus recording the fastest fifty ever in the history of Women’s T20I cricket.
Her innings helped Pakistan mount 223-4 to secure a comprehensive 133-run win, thus sealing the T20I series 3-0.
