Just as the India-Pakistan rivalry has entertained the cricket world, the growing competition between IPL and PSL has also become exciting. With the two T20 giants likely to clash in the 2026 window, England pacer Tymal Mills has added fresh spice by signing up for the PSL.
Before stepping into the upcoming tournament, the Peshawar Zalmi pulled off a game-changing move by roping him into their squad. On their social media handle, they announced Mill’s arrival as fans welcomed the superstar with open arms.
Tymal Mills adds firepower to Peshawar Zalmi ahead of PSL 2026
Since the beginning of the PSL, stars across the globe have entertained the Pakistani cricket fans, but the upcoming 11th edition of the tournament promises to be something bigger than ever. From introducing new teams to signing some of the biggest names in world cricket, the tournament is set to turn heads with unmissable cricket action.
As the upcoming edition of PSL is all set go live on March 26, the franchises are racing to assemble formidable squads in pursuit of a successful campaign. Following suit, the Peshawar Zalmi made a game-changing move even before the season started.

The one-time PSL winner has roped in ace England pacer Tymal Mills as a direct signing for the upcoming season. His arrival significantly boosts their pace arsenal, forming a formidable attack alongside Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad, adding serious firepower to the squad.
On their social media handle, Peshawar Zalmi broke the news of Tymal Mills’ arrival with a heartwarming note. Posting an edited picture of the pacer, they wrote, “The storm just leveled up. Let’s welcome England’s express pacer Tymal Mills to the Yellow Storm.”
A look back at Tymal Mills’ PSL journey
As the Pakistani cricket fans are already excited for Mills’ arrival, the English pacer stepped into the PSL world a decade ago. During PSL 2016, he made his debut for Quetta Gladiators and secured seven wickets in five games with an economy rate of 9.42.
Adding to that, he has donned the Peshawar Zalmi jersey early on. In PSL 2018, he featured in five matches and picked up seven wickets at an impressive economy rate of 7.21.
In his PSL career, he played 30 matches and secured 37 wickets with an impressive economy rate of 8.41. After spending the last PSL season with the Islamabad United, he is set to kick-start a whole new journey in his PSL career.
Peshawar Zalmi unveil power-packed squad in hunt for second title
In the last edition of the tournament, the Peshawar Zalmi had a nightmare as they struggled throughout the season. In 10 matches, they registered only four victories and faced six heartbreaking defeats, and ended in fifth position on the points table.
Ahead of the upcoming season, the franchise has retained captain Babar Azam with a whopping amount of PKR 70 million. Adding to that, Sufiyan Muqeem and Abdul Samad have also been retained. Apart from the Pakistani stars, some global stars are set to add more firepower to the squad.
Along with Mills, they roped in Australian star Aaron Hardie with direct signings. With big names like Nahid Rana, Kusal Mendis, and Michael Bracewell in the mix, Zalmi have added massive firepower in their quest for a second title.
