South Africa have a huge marquee series coming up later this month. The mighty Australians will visit their soil and will play 3 ODIs and 3 Test matches. We all are looking forward to that and I am sure you too are.
The Namibians don't have any matches lined up in the near future. It is a good time for the players to get back to some domestic cricket and work on their fitness to get prepared for when they get back onto the field as a team against USA.

This was South Africa's second-string team. However, they displayed the depth of cricket in the country and put up a fantastic performance to drum the Namibians 3-0. It should motivate the side a lot as when the big boys return, this team will only get stronger.

Bjorn Fortuin (Player of the Match and South Africa Captain): (On his performance with the ball) "Yeah, I mean, we spoke about it in the T20s, different guys contributing at different times again. We saw Jordan and Connor do a great job of the series with the bat, so I was fortunate enough to contribute with the ball today.
(On the importance of game time ahead of the long summer) Yeah, any time on the field is taken with a lot of regard for players. We just try and spend as much time on the field as possible. Game time is precious, and the best learning happens out there on the field. So from a learning point of view, that's the most important thing for us.
(On what he will take from the tour of Namibia) Yeah, it's always nice to come back and play in Namibia. I played quite a few amateur games back in the day, a couple of games with the Lions, so it's always nice to come back here, see familiar faces, a couple of faces that I played school cricket with. So it's always nice to come back, and hopefully we can be here in the future again."

Gerhard Erasmus (Namibia Captain): "[Reflections on today's result] On a day like this there were more lessons to learn. I think it's a bit of a drubbing and we wouldn't like to, for one play like that We pride ourselves to be better than that, so I think it is basically not a lack of effort. I think the next the month of training and prep for USA will also not be a lack of effort. We need to upskill and get ourselves to this level.
[On the lessons from the series] Just taking away the physical stuff, for speed. They produced throughout the innings. Quality spinners, they are a high-performance side, they get to the ball quick, they hit the ball harder and they bowl faster. If we can get our level close to that, then I think we will be better going forward.
[On the young talent in the squad] Yeah, definitely. A nice way to expose them in front of very good side in South Africa. They would have learned a lot on this tour. I suppose when you win, you tend to feel more confident as if you have learnt more things. When you lose, there is always little bit of gold bits that you can take home."
