That's it from our coverage of the 2nd Qualifier in the Lanka Premier League 2026. Galle Gallants with a terrific 6-wicket win have launched themselves into the final against Jaffna Kings in a few hours.
Dasun Shanaka (Galle Gallants): [on the game] Starting from the powerplay, we controlled it. Sometimes we lose the momentum in T20 cricket. By the end, we made a great comeback. Really happy about the way we played our first 20 overs. After that last game we had a serious chat, someone needs to convert and need to finish for us. Sam and Charith did the job for us. Really proud as a unit.

Sam Harper (Player of the Match): [on the celebration] Back home in BBL, Marcus Stoinis got a fifty and he sort of did that to wind us up and then throughout the tournament we did that. I wasn't going to do that but my Melbourne Stars mate Tommy Rogers was on the boundary line and I just did it back to him.
