That's it from all of us for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of scorer Raju Khariya. Tata. Bye Bye.
Fritha Morris (Hero of the Match): "The surface is low and slow. Not a batting paradise but we have played enough here and we know how to bowl here. It's great bowling along with Sophie and it makes my job easier. We did well with the ball and kept them under pressure. Been a long couple of weeks on not getting on the field but to get out in front of this crowd was good."

10:12 PM IST, 5:42 PM Local Time: That’s it. The Manchester Originals Women complete the victory over the Birmingham Phoenix Women. After not getting a chance to take the field in the first two fixtures, the Originals Women managed to fire in unison today and emerge victorious by five wickets. The Birmingham Phoenix remain winless in the Women’s Hundred 2023.

Chasing a modest total of 88, the Manchester Originals had the worst possible start as they lost Emma Lamb on the very first ball, thanks to a fantastic catch from Amy Jones of the bowling of Tess Flintoff. Ami Campbell joined by Laura Wolvaardt and both started building a partnership. They played some beautiful shots and kept the Birmingham Phoenix Women at bay.

The Birmingham bowlers tried hard but failed to create any chances. They kept conceding regular boundaries and as a result, failed to build pressure. Both Wolvaardt and Campbell put 69 between them before the former fell on a well-made 38. Campbell fell on 28 in the very next set. There was a mini-collapse in the end but the Originals Women held their nerves to get across the line with five wickets in hand with one ball to spare. Katie Levick picked up two wickets but it wasn't enough as they failed to defend the total.

Earlier, the Birmingham Phoenix Women were asked to bat first. They had a steady start as Evelyn Jones and Sophie Devine struggled to find boundaries in the powerplay. Both took their time to settle in before Sophie Ecclestone created an immediate impact with the ball. She dismissed Jones on 18. Devine scored 27 off 25 balls before holing out in the deep while trying to up the ante. The Phoenix batters faltered against spin as they never got going in the middle phase.

The Phoenix Women kept losing wickets at regular intervals and failed to build partnerships. Apart from Jones and Devine, only Abbey Freeborn (12) got to double digits as they got bundled out on 87 in 96 balls. Fritha Morris picked up a fifer for Manchester Originals, becoming the first bowler to pick up a five-wicket haul in the Women’s Hundred. Sophie Ecclestone also registered figures of 4/11 as they completed an outstanding performance with the ball in hand before their batters stepped up and chased down the total.

4 FOUR!!! Squeezes it through the off side and Bryce finishes things in style. Devine bowls a wide yorker and Bryce opens her bat face to squeeze it past the point fielder for a boundary. With this, the Manchester Originals Women win the game by five wickets.

0 Another dot ball. Bryce is feeling the pressure here. A low full toss on the stumps and Bryce drives it straight to silly mid on.
