The Los Angeles Knight Riders' triumph in the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2026 final certified the legendary status of Sunil Narine and Andre Russell as two of the most successful players in T20 cricket history. 

In the final, LAKR beat Washington Freedom by just one run in a thrilling climax. Narine won the Player of the Match award for his remarkable spell, where he picked up 3 wickets for 13 runs in 4 overs.

Having said that, the Knight Riders team included legendary players like Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, and this victory is not the maiden title triumph of their esteemed franchise league career.

On that note, here are players who have won the most number of T20I titles in their careers.

5. Andre Russell - 12 titles

The veteran all-rounder from the West Indies, Andre Russell, enters this list with a record number of 12 title victories in franchise leagues. He lifted his 12th title with the Los Angeles Knight Riders in MLC 2026. Having said that, Russell is a seasoned campaigner in franchise leagues. 

Previously, he won titles in the IPL, CPL, PSL and other global leagues. Despite battling injuries throughout his career, Andre Russell has consistently delivered when it has mattered most. And even at the toe end of his career, the all-rounder is just adding to his legacy.

4. Sunil Narine - 13 titles

West Indies mystery spinner Sunil Narine strengthened his incredible T20 legacy by winning his 13th career title at MLC 2026. For a couple of decades now, Narine has been one of the most lethal forces in franchise leagues. 

Playing for KKR in the IPL, he has won three titles. To value his loyalty, the Knight Riders group signed him in the CPL, MLC and ILT20 leagues as well, where he continued to deliver match-winning performances. The latest MLC triumph adds another chapter to an already glittering career. 

3. Shoaib Malik - 15 titles

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik also had a glorious career in T20 franchise leagues. He occupies third place with a total of 15 title wins. Having represented franchises in Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Caribbean and beyond, Malik has built a reputation as one of the most reliable middle-order batters in the shortest format. 

He not only served as an all-rounder but also as captain in a couple of leagues, thus succeeding in high-pressure situations.

2. Dwayne Bravo - 17 titles

Another West Indies legend, Dwayne Bravo, sits second on the list with 17 T20 trophies. One of the greatest all-rounders in the format, Bravo became a franchise cricket icon thanks to his clever death bowling, explosive batting and infectious energy. 

In the IPL, he won titles with CSK. In CPL, he led Trinbago Knight Riders to a few title wins. Apart from this, Bravo also played in the PSL and ILT20. He was a regular T20 player before retiring from the IPL, and now, he serves as a coach.

1. Kieron Pollard - 18 titles

Former West Indies captain Kieron Pollard remains the undisputed king of T20 trophies with an incredible 18 titles. Across a career spanning nearly two decades, Pollard enjoyed immense success with franchises such as Mumbai Indians, Trinbago Knight Riders, MI Emirates and others. 

Not only that, Pollard has won championships in the IPL, CPL, ILT20 and several domestic competitions. Despite retiring from the IPL, Kieron Pollard is still playing in leagues like ILT20 and MLC. His record is magical and is unlikely to be surpassed anytime soon.
