The 19th edition of IPL concluded on May 31 with RCB lifting their 2nd straight trophy. The Rajat Patidar-led side successfully defended their title, handing Gujarat Titans a five-wicket defeat. It was another successful IPL edition that saw several talents rise to the occasion.

The cash-studded league offers a great platform to the younger generation to prove their mettle. In IPL 2026, there were several uncapped youngsters across 10 teams, competing for the emerging player of the tournament.

Therefore, this article will shed light on the IPL 2026 emerging players team of the tournament.

IPL Rules To Be Eligible For IPL 2026 Emerging Players Category

• Must be an uncapped player

• be born after 1st April 2000

• have played in 25 or fewer IPL matches (as of the start of the season)

• have not previously won the Emerging Player Award

IPL 2026 Emerging Players Team Of The Tournament

Top Order - (Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Priyansh Arya, Ayush Mhatre)

In the top order, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will open the innings with Priyansh Arya. The 15-year-old has taken IPL 2026 by storm and ended the tournament as the leading run-getter. The RR star became the youngest player in the league’s history to win the Orange Cap. 

Sooryavanshi had a whopping 776-run season. His opening partner will be Priyansh Arya, who also had an explosive season for Punjab Kings. The southpaw scored 364 runs in 13 innings.

Ayush Mhatre will lead the side and will bat at No.3. The CSK star was having a brilliant season, but unfortunately, his stint was cut short with an injury.  Notably, Mhatre scored 201 runs in six innings, averaging 33.50.

Middle-Order (Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Sameer Rizvi, Kartik Sharma, Mukul Choudhary)

In the middle-order, Angkrish Raghuvanshi will be there because he was KKR's leading run-getter in IPL 2026 and scored 422 runs in 12 innings, averaging 42.20. Raghuvanshi was eventually ruled out of IPL because of a finger injury. Other than him, Sameer Rizvi and Kartik Sharma also impressed.

Sameer Rizvi, in nine innings, scored 252 runs, averaging 36.00. The DC batter took the league by storm as he slammed two straight fifties in the first two matches of IPL 2026. Further, CSK's 14.20 crore investment in Kartik Sharma also paid off as the right-handed batter proved his mettle this season.

Sharma scored 295 runs in 11 innings, averaging 32.78, with a strike-rate of 136.57. The youngster scored two fifties in IPL 2026.

Bowlers - (Praful Hinge, Rasikh Salam, Kartik Tyagi, Prince Yadav)

Amid the bowlers, Praful Hinge, Rasikh Salam, Kartik Tyagi, and Prince Yadav will be the four bowlers. Praful Hinge picked up 14 wickets in 7 innings for SRH and his partner in crime was Sakib Hussain, who will be the impact sub with 15 wickets in 11 innings.

Rest, Prince Yadav was the find of the season among the bowlers as the LSG seamer took 16 wickets in 14 innings and even earned an India call-up for his performance. Rest, Kartik Tyagi too was brilliant for KKR with 18 wickets, producing best-ever IPL season.

For RCB, Rasikh Salam will be their emering player candidate for 16 wickets in 11 innings, with an economy of 9.73.
