Shreyas Iyer remains an important part of India in the ODI format, but his numbers in 2026 have been modest. He has made 219 runs in nine innings at an average of 27.38 and a strike rate of 84.56. The young all-rounder recently impressed with six wickets during the T20I series against Afghanistan in 3 innings at an economy rate of 8.78.Nitish has also been included in the West Indies ODIs, and he now has a chance to perform at his best as Hardik Pandya is not available for IND vs WI ODIs.It is worth noting that Hardik has faced several fitness issues recently, starting with a back spasm in IPL 2026 and later suffering another setback while training at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
