Australia show who the boss of the pink-ball Test is yet again. They came to Adelaide after getting hammered in Perth. Rohit Sharma returned to the side and has now lost four Tests in a row as captain. India have plenty of questions to answer as they head to Brisbane for the third Test, starting on December 14.

That is all we have got from the pink-ball fixture from the Adelaide Oval. This is me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal, who brought you all the live coverage of this Australia triumphed day. We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!
Pat Cummins (Australia Captain): "Yeah, it is a great week. We were a bit far away from a team we wanted to be in Perth. But this is how we want to play.

It's good to get a few wickets; I am happy with the fifer. Starc is amazing. He has done it for over a decade. So, I feel very lucky and privileged.

That is right. Head loves batting here. It could have gone either way when Head went out to bat, but he shifted the momentum.

But it played into our hands. Yeah, I think the main thing was the lead. It was a pretty good time to bowl. Under the lights, the ball did a lot. The ball does a bit more under lights but the big thing was getting a big lead.

Scotty (Boland) just fitted in straightaway, just as he always does. Hopefully, Joshy (Hazlewood) is back for the next one. If not, Scotty is unbelievable.

I guess Nathan Lyon had a big week (chuckles), he will have an ice bath."
Rohit Sharma (India Captain): "Look, it was a disappointing week for us. Australia played better than us. We had our chances but we were unable to capitalise on them that cost us the game. Yeah, absolutely, what we did in Perth was special. We wanted to come here and replicate that. But we know that every Test has its own challenges. We knew it will be challenging but again Australia were better than us.

Yeah, we are quite looking forward to it. There is not too much time left for the next Test. As a team, we just want to go out there and reflect on what we did right in Perth and also what we did last time when we were here."
Travis Head (POTM): "Yes! It's nice to get some runs here. It is just another game. I felt like I was in good form last week. It is a nice dressing room, but it's a tight one; most people might suggest otherwise.

Putting a good performance in, nothing was ever guaranteed, nice momentum, and now we have to move on with it.

There was no communication regarding bowling in the final session on Day 2. Pat Cummins gives me great confidence. I can see the game and play the game how I want to see it. I felt like there was a good opportunity with that second new ball. We tried to get as many as we could get and put them under pressure.

It was a hot couple of days. It felt like the new ball was going to be tough work. It's nice that it was able to come off. I picked the moments really well throughout the innings, and we were able to get the ball rolling. Century celebration, yeah, I did it with Milla as well. It's nice to have family here, and it's been a nice week."
