Mohammad Arshad Khan is a young left-handed all-rounder who began his cricketing journey in 2006 when he was just eight years old.
In 2012, the southpaw made it into the U-16 team of Madhya Pradesh at the age of just 14. The all-rounder represented Madhya Pradesh in the U-19 age group within three years. Later, he also made it into the U-23 side of Madhya Pradesh in the 2017-18 season.
Arshad was on top of his form during the 2020 edition of the U-23 CK Naidu tournament organized by BCCI. He scalped wickets for fun and smashed the bowlers all over the park with the willow in hand. A handy lower-order batter, he is someone who can tonk the ball really hard and make significant contributions with the cork in hand.
The Gopalganj-born all-rounder was recently bought by Mumbai Indians (MI) for his base price of INR 20 lakhs in the 2022 mega-auction of the Indian Premier League.
