Abhinandan Singh Profile, Career & Stats

Known for hitting the right areas consistently, Abhinandan Singh is a right-arm pacer who attracted bids from one of the oldest franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). He was snared by them for a base price of INR 30 Lakhs. 

The 27-year-old made the limelight after catching the attention of talent scouts at Padampur's prestigious Borasambar Cup event in West Odisha. The pacer gleamed with many wickets, before making an impact in the 2024 Uttar Pradesh League while playing for the Lucknow Falcons.

He was also a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders bowling academy for nurturing young talents.

Abhinandan is well known for maintaining his line and length and can be a handy starter with the new ball. He generates both swing and seam movement and can bowl hit the deck deliveries as well.

However, the burly pacer is still a work in progress in the slog overs and the IPL 2025 should be a great learning curve for him.

Barging shoulders with renowned names such as Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal, Rasikh Salam Dar, among others will certainly earn dividends to help his career reach newer heights.
