Smriti Mandhana hammered down her second T20I century, this time flaying the Hong Kong bowling attack in match number seven of the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup. Opening the innings for India, the prolific left-handed batter raced to her century from just 57 balls, having dispatched 13 boundaries and four huge sixes at the time.

The cricketer notched up a slew of batting records through her electrifying knock at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on September 3, including one to become the leading century-maker in the history of women’s international cricket.

For starters, the 30-year-old has become the leading century-maker across all formats of the international women’s game, having surpassed Meg Lanning and Laura Wolvaardt at a single stroke. Here is a look at players with most international hundreds in women’s cricket.

Batting first, Team India mounted 193-5 in 20 overs following the boundary-hitting outburst from Smriti Mandhana. Shafali Verma also belted 28 off just 17 balls at the top of the order as the ‘Women in Blue’ look to maintain their unbeaten run in the ongoing 2026 Women’s Asia Cup.
