Mohammad Amir for the Rawalpindiz [Source: PSL Official Social Media Handle]
The Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Rawalpindiz clash on April 26 saw an unprecedented record set by the Pakistan veteran Mohammad Amir. One of the most trusted and reliable veteran of the PSL team was seen leaking a horde of runs for his team.
While T20 cricket nowadays is a battle of batters with very little left for bowlers in the game, Mohammad Amir was punished brutally in the process by Kingsmen batters as he etched one of the most shameful records in the game as his own personal milestone.
Mohammad Amir Bowls Most Expensive Over Of His Life
Amir has been one of the legendary bowlers for the Men in Green with his expertise with the ball. In a match against UAE, Amir conceded only 6 runs from his 4 over spell back in 2016. Fast forward to 2026 and Amir have now ceonceded one of the most expensive overs in his T20I career.
Bowling to the Hyderabad Kingsmen batters, Amir leaked 57 runs from his 4 overs at an economy rate of 14.25 at Karachi breaking his previous record of 51 runs in 2025.
| Runs Leaked | Overs | Wickets | Economy Rate | Opponents |
| 57 | 4 | 0 | 14.25 | Kingsmen |
| 51 | 4 | 1 | 12.75 | Patriots |
| 49 | 4 | 1 | 12.25 | Zalmi |
| 47 | 4 | 0 | 11.75 | Kings |
| 46 | 2 | 0 | 23 | Kings |

Amir Gets Destroyed By Glenn Maxwell & Co.
Mohammad Amir's shameful record was powered by a massive beating from Kusal Perera, Glenn Maxwell, and Usman Khan. The three batters of Kingsmen led the charge against Amir to script the destruction.

Notably, Amir was also the most expensive of Rawalpindiz lot, where the least runs were leaked by Saad Masood, who gave away only 34 runs from his four-over spell while taking two wickets against the Kingsmen.
How Hyderabad Kingsmen Scripted The Destruction Of Mohammad Amir & Co.
The Hyderabad Kingsmen saw an early scare with Marnus Labuschagne, Maaz Sadaqat, and Saim Ayub gone inside seven overs, as the team was struggling at 93 for 3.
However, the arrival of Glenn Maxwell and Kusal Perera changed the game, with the duo stitching up 108 runs from just 59 deliveries. That was a blitzkrieg partnership that powered Kingsmen's total to 244 runs on the board at the end of 20 overs.
While the mammoth total will be a heroic task for Rawalpindiz to cover, the bowlers are to be blamed for the pathetic beatings they took.
Usman Khan scored a 26-ball 54 at a strike rate of 207.69, while Kusal Perera, staying unbeaten, packed a 30-ball 50, as Glenn Maxwell too bagged a 37-ball 70 at a strike rate of 189.19 to script the fate of Rawalpindiz.
Mohammad Amir, meanwhile, has been a decent performer with the ball in PSL 2026. Except for the Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Rawalpindiz clash, Amir's bowling performance has been decent, with him taking 12 wickets in PSL 2026 so far from his 10 innings at an economy rate of 8.81 and a strike rate of 18.00.
