KL Rahul Slams Fastest IPL 100 For DC; Closes Gap On Virat Kohli With Multiple Records

On Saturday, April 25, KL Rahul scripted history as the Delhi Capitals opener brought up his 6th IPL century. The right-handed batter reached the milestone in 47 balls against Punjab Kings. Talking about the innings, the 34-year-old slammed 12 fours and five sixes.

Notably, it was KL Rahul's 2nd century of the season and with 6th ton, he equalled Chris Gayle's century tally in the cash-studded league. KL is now only behind Virat Kohli and Jos Buttler in the elite list.

KL Rahul Slams Highest-Ever Individual Score By An Indian In IPL

At the time of writing this article, KL Rahul broke Abhishek Sharma's record to slam highest-ever individual score by an Indian. Previously, SRH batter held the record when he slammed 141 against Punjab Kings.

Further, KL Rahul has scored 152 runs, making it the 3rd highest-individual score in IPL history. Only Brendon McCullum and Chris Gayle are ahead of him in this list. Notably, KL Rahul is also the first-Indian to score 150+ total in IPL history.
