Brook, Buttler broke several records vs India [Source: AFP]Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to field first in the 5th T20I against England, but not even in his wildest dreams would the Indian skipper have thought that his team would concede in excess of 250 runs. Such was India’s day as all the bowlers were taken apart, and it was the Harry Brook-Jos Buttler show in Southampton.Phil Salt departed early, and that was the last time the Indian bowlers smiled as the pair of Brook and Buttler (The B&B pair) blew away the Indian bowlers and registered the highest T20I partnership for any wicket for England. While Jos Buttler smacked 131 off just 64 balls, Brook remained unbeaten on 95 as the Three Lions tore apart the Indian attack and registered 257/3 on the board. The dynamic English pair were at their absolute best against India, and here are all the records broken by Brook and Buttler in their 5th T20I onslaught.List of all records broken by Brook-Buttler vs IndiaHighest 2nd Wicket Partnerships in T20Is233 – Harry Brook & Jos Buttler (England) vs India, Southampton, 2026, Today*210* – Sanju Samson & Tilak Varma (India) vs South Africa, Johannesburg, 2024 193 – Sybrand Engelbrecht & Michael Levitt (Netherlands) vs Namibia, Kirtipur, 2024Highest Partnerships for Any Wicket in T20Is 258* – K Kadowaki-Fleming & L Yamamoto-Lake (Japan) vs China, Mong Kok, 2024 (1st wicket) 238 – Ben Kohler-Cadmore & Musaddiq Ahmed (Germany) vs Austria, Krefeld, 2026 (1st wicket) 236 – Hazratullah Zazai & Usman Ghani (Afghanistan) vs Ireland, Dehradun, 2019 (1st wicket) 233 – Harry Brook & Jos Buttler (England) vs India, Southampton, 2026 (2nd wicket), Today* 223 – Aaron Finch & D'Arcy Short (Australia) vs Zimbabwe, Harare, 2018 (1st wicket)Highest Innings Total vs India in T20Is:257/3 – England, Southampton, 2026, Today*246/7 – England, Wankhede, 2026245/6 – West Indies, Lauderhill, 2016227/3 – South Africa, Indore, 2022225/5 – Australia, Guwahati, 2023Highest Innings Total for England in T20Is:304/2 vs South Africa, Manchester, 2025267/3 vs West Indies, Tarouba, 2023257/3 vs India, Southampton, 2026, Today*248/3 vs West Indies, Southampton, 2025246/7 vs India, Mumbai (Wankhede), 2026Also Read: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Out Of India’s 2028 T20 World Cup PlanOther individual records registered by Brook, ButtlerThe English pair not only contributed to the team, but their innings also helped them attain personal milestones, and here is the list of such feats. Most 6s by an England Batter in a T20I Innings:10 – Phil Salt vs West Indies, Tarouba, 20239 – Liam Livingstone vs Pakistan, Nottingham, 20219 – Phil Salt vs West Indies, St George's, 20238 – Jonny Bairstow vs South Africa, Bristol, 20228 – Phil Salt vs South Africa, Manchester, 20258 – Jos Buttler vs India, Southampton, 2026, Today*8 – Harry Brook vs India, Southampton, 2026, Today*Highest Individual Scores vs India as Captain in T20Is:124* – Shane Watson (Australia), Sydney, 201698 – Chris Gayle (West Indies), Bridgetown, 201095* – Harry Brook (England), Southampton, 2026, Today*95 – Kane Williamson (New Zealand), Hamilton, 202080* – Jos Buttler (England), Adelaide, 2022Highest Individual Scores for Harry Brook in T20Is:100 vs Pakistan, Pallekele, 202695* vs India, Southampton, 2026, Today*81* vs Pakistan, Karachi, 2022Highest Individual Scores for Jos Buttler in T20s:131 (England) vs India, Southampton, 2026, Today*124 (RR) vs SRH, Delhi, 2021116 (RR) vs Delhi Capitals, Mumbai (Wankhede), 2022Also Read: Harry Brook Attains Record-Breaking T20I Milestone With Fifty Vs India
