The rumours surrounding Sai Kishore's potential move to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are gathering momentum, with fans closely tracking every update across social media.

However, the franchise has dismissed those reports. Earlier this month, a report by RevSportz quoted CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan as denying any talks regarding trades.
“CSK has not even done the review of the season yet, and we will only do so after the MLC is complete. I am currently in the US. We have not spoken to anyone, and all that is being said about Hardik and CSK is untrue,” Kasi Viswanathan told RevSportz.

The speculation intensified after CSK shared a social media video featuring the franchise mascot, Leo. In the clip, subtle hints suggested that an all-rounder, capable of contributing as a bowler, fielder, and batter, could be part of the team's future plans.

Adding further fuel to the rumours, Sai Kishore's wife, Anmol Krishna, liked one of CSK's social media posts where Leo was actively discussing possible trade targets.
Given that Kishore hails from Tamil Nadu, many fans believe a move to his home franchise would make perfect sense. Social media has since been flooded with reactions, with supporters eagerly speculating about the left-arm spinner donning the iconic yellow jersey.

CSK are likely to be searching for an experienced spin-bowling all-rounder who can provide depth after veterans Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin while also contributing useful runs in the lower order.
Sai Kishore endured a difficult IPL 2026 season, receiving limited opportunities with the Gujarat Titans. He featured in only two innings, picking up one wicket at an economy rate of 11.50. However, his previous campaign showcased his true potential, as he claimed 19 wickets in 15 innings while maintaining an economy rate of 9.25.
With Gujarat Titans possessing multiple spin options and having scarcely utilised Kishore during IPL 2026, a trade could be beneficial for both franchises. CSK would gain a proven domestic performer, while Kishore could secure regular opportunities with his home team.
The left-arm spinner has also carried impressive form into the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL 2025). He has taken 12 wickets in nine innings and has contributed valuable runs lower down the order, scoring 129 runs in seven innings at a strike rate of 138.71.
