The PSL 2026 season will continue with match number three, featuring Peshawar Zalmi taking on newcomers RawalPindiZ. The match will be hosted by the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday, March 28 and the action will commence from 3:00 PM IST onwards.

Babar Azam will continue to captain the Peshawar Zalmi franchise after failing to lead them into the playoffs last year. 

The team finished fifth on the six-team points table in PSL 2025, and will now be aiming to bounce back strongly with a much-improved campaign this season.

The RawalPindiZ, on the other hand, is one of the two new franchises introduced into the tournament’s roaster before PSL 2026. 

The team is set to be led by senior Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, who will be joined by Usman Khawaja, Sam Billings, Daryl Mitchell and express paceman Naseem Shah.
