All matches will take place in Rawalpindi till October 13.While Sri Lanka confirmed their squad for the forthcoming T20Is, the PCB is yet to officially unveil Pakistan’s squad for Sri Lanka T20I series. They, in all likelihood, were waiting for the end of Asian Games 2026 final, in which India defeated the Men in Green to secure Gold medal. Here, in this article, let’s take a look at who could possibly come in Pakistan’s squad for Sri Lanka T20Is, based on current scenario.Hasan Nawaz In, Salman Ali Agha OutThe PCB has already humiliated T20I captain Salman Ali Agha by sending him back to his own land in the middle of England tour. The reports further claimed that he would be replaced by Babar Azam as T20I captain.Hasan Nawaz has been rising through the ranks, having made 22-ball 27 in the semi-final and a spectacular 51-ball 96 in the Asian Games 2026 final against India. He was also in good touch during CPL 2026 in the middle-order, making 220 runs across seven innings with an average of 36.67.Nawaz should be an automatic choice with little doubts after what he did in Asian Games 2026.Arafat Minhas In, Faheem Ashraf OutJust like Nawaz, Arafat Minhas has been slowly emerging as Pakistan’s important white-ball member, both in ODIs and T20Is. Even though he did not get a chance to bat in Asian Games 2026, he took two wickets in each across both games (four in total) to keep on going for the country. Also Read: Pakistan’s World Cup Dream Seeks Arafat Minhas And The Numbers Back It UpTo get a place in Pakistan’s squad for Sri Lanka T20I series, Faheem Ashraf, in all likelihood, might have to make way. Ashraf had a terrible T20 Blast 2026 as well as PSL 2026 with both bat and ball, there is little doubt that he might be axed from all formats, with Minhas making waves.Ahmed Daniyal In, Salman Mirza OutJust before the Asian Games 2026, Salman Mirza was ruled out of the competition due to an injury. He is expected to take much more time to be fit for playing a T20I match. To replace him, Ahmed Daniyal is Pakistan’s go-to option for Sri Lanka T20Is. Daniyal took two wickets against India and conceded only 15 runs off two overs against Bangladesh in the semi-final. He should be the first man to get a place in Pakistan’s squad for Sri Lanka T20I series for this pace department. Also Read: Asian Games 2026 Team of The Tournament: 6 From India, 1 Pakistan Player Included
