All eyes will be on Lord's Cricket Ground as India will play against England in the third and final ODI of the series. With the three-match series tied at 1-1, the winner of this contest will lift the trophy.

But the 'Men in Blue' have faced an early setback as Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the IND vs ENG 3rd ODI.

The third ODI carries extra importance for the Indian team. Earlier on the tour, India suffered a disappointing 0-4 defeat in the T20I series against England. Winning the ODI series would help the visitors finish the England tour on a positive note.

The 3rd ODI is also a milestone game for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The duo, famously known as ROKO, will field together for the 400th time in international cricket.

IND vs ENG 3rd ODI: What The Captains Had To Say

Shubman Gill (India Captain): "(What would he have done) We would've bowled first as well.

(Team news) We have got 3 changes. Boom misses out. He is unavailable due to some knee injury and so is Washington Sundar. Dube also misses out. KL, Prince and Arshdeep are coming back in the side.

(Have they gone on stats to pick Arshdeep for this game?) No, no, we are not the ones who rely on stats too much. We think that he is a great bowler. We were looking to play 4 seamers on this ground. We have seen in the middle overs that spinners don't really offer much compared to the fast bowlers.

(Things to improve from the previous game) I think we were in the game up until the 25th over of the game. After that, we lost too many wickets in the middle overs. Had we been in a decent position, we would've posted a good total on the board which was around 280-300. It's not easy to score freely in the past couple of matches. We need our middle order to step up and take responsibility."

Harry Brook (England Captain): "[What is he going to do?] We are going to have a bat first today.

[Reasons?] Looks like a good surface. Hopefully, we can get to a decent score and put them under pressure.

[Team news?] Tongue comes back in for Saqib.

[On their periods of play which pleased him in the 2nd ODI] Well, there are loads of periods. I thought we did really well through the middle overs with the ball to restrict them. I can't remember what the figures were, but I think they went for 30 runs in 10 overs or so. And then the way that Rooty batted sets a great template for all of our batters.

[On the opportunity to win the ODI series after winning the T20I series] Yeah, it would be beautiful, wouldn't it? Hopefully we'll be lifting that trophy at the end of the day, but we've got to go in there, assess conditions as well as we can, and adapt to the conditions as well."
