We have often heard the saying that "Records Are Meant To Be Broken", but there are certain records that are often difficult to break and remain intact with one player's name. Rohit Sharma has created several such records during his international career.
The Indian selectors have decided to move in a different direction, and the third ODI against England at Lord’s could turn out to be Rohit's final appearance for India.
If this is the end of his international career, Rohit will leave the game as one of the finest ODI players for India.
Having said this, in this article, let’s take a look at some of Rohit Sharma’s unique records that may remain unbeaten for a very long time.

Three ODI Double Centuries (Most Double ODI Centuries)
Scoring a double century in ODI cricket is a difficult task for any batter. Rohit Sharma has done it not once or twice, but three times, making him the only player in history to reach the 200-run mark thrice.
His first double century came against Australia in Bengaluru in 2013, where he scored 209 runs off 158 balls at a strike rate of 132.27. A year later, he also made 264 against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, which is still the highest individual score in ODI history.
He also made another double ODI century against Sri Lanka in Mohali; the star player made 208 runs off 153 balls on December 13, 2017.
It is important to note that no other batter has managed more than one ODI double century.
Highest ODI score
Rohit also has another unique and nearly impossible record to his name. On November 13, 2014, against Sri Lanka in Kolkata, Rohit produced a once-in-a-lifetime innings.
He faced 173 balls and struck 33 boundaries along with nine sixes to complete 264 runs, the highest ODI score.
