In a heated moment during the PBKS vs RCB clash of the IPL 2026 season at Dharamsala, Virat Kohli gave a death stare to Harpreet Brar on the field. This moment instantly went viral on social media.
Punjab Kings, desperate to break their 5-game losing streak, won the toss and opted to field against a Rajat Patidar-less RCB. Jitesh Sharma replaced Patidar as the stand-in skipper for the game.
Virat Kohli stares at Harpreet Brar over the run-out threat
Meanwhile, RCB’s first innings began on a rocky note as they lost opener Jacob Bethell, early on 11 off 7 balls. However, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal rebuilt the innings with a 76-run partnership for the second wicket.
That being said, facing the fifth ball of the ninth over, Kohli tapped a good length delivery to the point region, where Harpreet Brar collected it swiftly. While Kohli wanted a single, Padikkal sent him back as he sensed danger.
However, seeing Virat out of his crease, Brar made a fake throw gesture to threaten the RCB veteran. But Kohli was not in the mood for games as he stood outside the crease to give a death stare to Harpreet.
He basically challenged Brar to have a go at the stumps, but the PBKS fielder chose against it and passed the ball to his teammate.
