At just 14 years old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has already made a significant mark in the world of cricket. However, recently he has decided to skip his CBSE Class 10 board examinations this year.

This bold decision comes despite the fact that his admit card had already been issued, and his exam centre had been assigned. Scheduled to appear for the exams between February 17 and March 11, 2026, Vaibhav Suryavanshi's primary focus now remains on his cricket career.

Due to his cricketing commitments, he has been away from school for prolonged periods.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi to miss Board Exams

The decision to skip the board exams has become even more public following the leak of Vaibhav Suryavanshi's admit card online.

The 14-year-old's exam centre was set at Poddar International School in Samastipur, Bihar, and the formalities for the examination had already been completed.

In a statement, Adarsh Kumar Pintu, the director of Modesty School Tajpur, confirmed that Vaibhav's examination form had been filled out and that his admit card had been issued.

“He will appear for the Class 10 board examinations at our school. We will ensure that he does not face any difficulty while appearing for the exams,” the principal said.

However, after discussions between his family and school authorities, it was agreed that Vaibhav would focus entirely on cricket, leaving the board exams for this year.

It was now confirmed that, after a conversation with Suryavanshi's father, Sanjeev Suryavanshi, it was decided that he would not appear for the Class 10 Board examination this year.
