Now, it is time for Suryavanshi to shift his focus back to studies as his Class 10 board exams approach fast. Before that, the admit card of the youngster had gone viral.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s 10th board admit card surfaces online
The 14-year-old Bihar prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi grabbed the limelight after securing a lucrative IPL deal with the Rajasthan Royals after showcasing his brilliance in the age-group cricket. In his inaugural season of IPL, he smashed a hundred and enjoyed successful outings. After that, he kept swinging his bat high on India U-19 tours, and fans kept hailing the future superstar.
But his brilliance in the under-19 World Cup stunned everyone as he nailed the final match with a sublime knock. But now it's time for Suryavanshi to fight the battle with the paper and pen as his CBSE 10th board exam is knocking on the door. Leaving the 22 yards just for a while, his battle is set to begin in the exam hall.
Suryavanshi is a student of Poder International School in Samastipur, Bihar. With his board exams starting on February 17, the youngster has completed all the formalities and received his admit card. Ahead of his appearance for the exam, a glimpse of his admit card leaked online.
School confirms major update on Suryavanshi’s board exam status
Before stepping into the IPL 2026, another big test is waiting for the youngster, and Vaibhav’s school principal confirmed his availability for the exam. He also assured full support, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free examination process for the young batter.
“Vaibhav Suryavanshi will appear for the Class 10 board examinations at our school. We will ensure that he does not face any difficulty while appearing for the exams,” the principal said.
Suryavanshi finishes U-19 World Cup mission and sets eyes on IPL 2026
The world witnessed Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s explosive batting, and that became the biggest weapon for Team India in the U-19 World Cup final against the England Under-1 side. While batting first, Team India lost an early wicket, and Suryavanshi tightened his grip. Stitching a game-changing partnership with Ayush Mhatre, completed a crucial fifty in 32 balls.
Carrying on his brilliance, he touched the magical three-figure mark in just 55 deliveries. The English bowlers had a nightmare on the field, as Suryavanshi unleashed his explosive mode. With that domination, he crossed the 150-run mark and played an unreal knock of 175 runs in 80 balls, along with 15 boundaries and 15 over-boundaries.
With that, Team India put on a massive total of 411 runs and ended up winning the U-19 World Cup title for the sixth time with a massive 100-run victory. After wraping up the upcoming boards exam, Vaibhav will set his eyes on the upcoming IPL 2026.
In the previous edition, Suryavanshi offered glimpses of his T20 brilliance in limited opportunities, but the upcoming season is likely to hand him a bigger role. The world awaits to see another explosive season from him in the Rajasthan Royals’ jersey.
