Australian cricketer Travis Head, who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League, and his wife, Jessica Head, are once again in the limelight after the latest controversy.

For the unversed, during the match 67 of the IPL 2026 between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Travis Head and Indian stalwart Virat Kohli got into a heated verbal on-field altercation.

Notably, during RCB’s chase, Kohli and Head exchanged words on the field after Head reportedly told Kohli to play more attacking shots.

The Indian legend responded sarcastically by asking Head, who was playing as an Impact Player, to come bowl himself. As soon as Kohli got out, Head hit back, saying he didn’t get the chance to bowl, which Kohli supposedly didn’t like.

The tension peaked when Kohli refused to shake hands with Head after the match, leading to viral fallout and online abuse directed at Head’s family.

Why is everyone talking about Travis Head’s wife?

On Monday, news erupted around Jessica Head, the Australian cricketer’s wife. It is worth noting that Jessica opened up on the matter and revealed that hateful comments and private messages were sent not only to them but also to their friends and family members after the Virat Kohli-Travis Head fight.

Speaking to Australian media outlet The Advertiser, Jessica issued a statement saying, “It feels like a repeat of the abuse that happened after the World Cup. I woke up to my socials blasting... we are fine, but they are attacking my friends and family."

Since the revelation, Travis’ wife Jess Head has become the talk of the town. Thus, in this article, take a look at her professional life and more.
