SRH vs LSG IPL 2026: Captains Thoughts
Rishabh Pant (Lucknow Super Giants Captain): "We are going to bowl first. I think the wicket is good but at the same time, their main strength is batting so let them bat first and then put them under pressure in the second innings.
[Discussion on what to do first] Not much discussion. We keep coming here every year. This is a team that can hurt you but whoever plays better cricket will win.

[On conditions] Looks like a good wicket. But at the same time, there is something in the wicket. After the powerplay, it might stick into the wicket. I think when the ball gets older, it will be harder to score.
Just one change, Sid (M Siddharth) comes in for Nortje. [On whether he will open] We will see (chuckles)."
Ishan Kishan (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "[How happy is he to get back at home?] Very happy. The crowd loves SRH. Very happy to be here.
I think just 2 changes. Livingstone comes in, and Harshal Patel comes in. Harshal Patel has done very well whenever he has played here. We are giving Livi an opportunity, and we are giving a little bit of opportunity to use his off-spin against their left-handers. So, yeah, these are the two changes.
In T20 cricket, I think execution is very important. You need to be in a very good headspace, calm and stop as many runs as possible.
