Amid the growing concerns surrounding his fitness, Rohit Sharma still managed to achieve a remarkable milestone as he became the first player from India to complete 16,000 international runs as an opener across formats.

Rohit Sharma's tally now puts him ahead of Virender Sehwag, who finished with 15,758 international runs as an opener, while Sachin Tendulkar occupies the next position with 15,335 runs at the top.
