Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Takes IPL 2026 By Storm
RCB won the IPL title in 2026 but the season will be remembered for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The youngster took the league by storm and won the orange cap for amassing 776 runs in 16 innings. The 15-year-old became the youngest player in the history of the league to achieve this feat.
Not just the IPL orange cap, but Sooryavanshi went onto win four more awards, bagging a total of five accolades alongside a cash prize of 55 lakhs in the post-final award ceremony.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Touted For India Debut Soon
After a successful IPL season, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is now being touted to make his India debut soon. The Men in Blue have a T20I series coming up against Ireland and England later in June and the apex cricket board of India is yet to name the 15-member squad.
Fans and several cricket pundits have united to show their support to Sooryavanshi and are touting the youngster to play for India soon and become the youngest player to make India debut, beating Sachin Tendulkar's feat who made his India debut at the age of 16.
India selection is still debatable, but a stellar IPL 2026 has already raised the stakes for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Notably, the youngster has doubled his commercial rates days after IPL got over. Earlier, the youngster was earning around 1 crore for an ad, which has now doubled to 2 crores, a 100% rise.
