The start of New Zealand and Pakistan’s T20 World Cup Super 8 match has been delayed because of a heavy downpour in R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Notably, rain threatened the first game of the Super 8 round, but showers hit the ground right after the toss.

Now coming to the cut-off time, then the match will be abandoned without a ball being bowled at 11:10 pm, which is 4 hours and 10 minutes past the scheduled start.

Talking about Colombo weather, there is 67% chances of rain. The bad news here is that the rain is expected to last around 1.5 hours and heavy downpour is expected in the next hour, risking a potential abandonment.
