Finally, the partial wait for Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s full IPL 2026 schedule is over. After the initial phase 1 release of the fixtures on March 26, 2026, just two days ahead of the campaign opener between RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Board of Control for Cricket in India and the IPL have now released the official schedule.
The defending champions will be set to play five games at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, while the remaining home matches will be hosted in Raipur.
Nevertheless, as the initial phase confirmed, RCB had their last match against the Mumbai Indians on April 12. However, the full schedule reveal now unveils the complete roster of the team with the last game scheduled against SRH.
RCB IPL 2026 Schedule Revealed
After ending a 17-year drought in the IPL, Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted their maiden IPL trophy in the 2025 season. This will boost the franchise's confidence significantly as the Rajat Patidar-led team heads into the tournament with momentum to play the 14 matches for which the full RCB IPL schedule has been revealed.
Notably, in the final against Punjab Kings, RCB won the match by 6 runs to lift the title, as their bowling unit remained strong throughout the tournament. This consistency gave them the momentum they needed in the league stage, which they carried forward into the playoffs and ultimately the final.
Unsurprisingly, Virat Kohli was the highest run-getter for RCB that season, scoring 657 runs from 15 matches at an average of 54.75 and a strike rate of 144.71.
Meanwhile, the highest wicket-taker was Josh Hazlewood, who took 22 wickets at an economy rate of 8.77, helping RCB gain the edge with the ball.
In the auction, Royal Challengers Bengaluru were strategic with their buys. RCB focused on all-rounder depth and pace backups to build a flexible and settled core.
RCB's spend of 16.15 crore in the auction helped them assemble a full squad of 25 players, with all eight overseas slots filled, as the plan revolved around having multi-skill players to cover for Josh Hazlewood and the Indian pace unit.
Jacob Duffy was an intelligent buy, with Kanishk Chouhan being their final pick in the auction. The Indian Under-19 off-spin all-rounder represents a lower-risk investment to deepen spin resources and batting depth.
Jordan Cox, bought for 75 lakh, was another interesting addition who could prove to be a solid batting option for RCB in case of any unexpected injuries.
Meanwhile, marquee signings consist of names like Venkatesh Iyer, who was roped in for a mammoth 7 crore, while almost the entire core was retained by RCB ahead of the auction.
With a few gaps yet a strong top order and versatile all-rounder options, RCB is set for the ultimate showdown in the IPL 2026 tournament.
