The match had got underway with the toss being conducted at the R. Premadasa Stadium, giving fans a glimmer of hope for a possible start, but steady rain throughout the evening left the match officials with no other option but to abandon the match with each team getting one point each. Mustafizur Rahman Returns To IPL-Linked Franchises' Wishlist Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has once again brought himself into the limelight of franchise cricket by registering for The Hundred Auction 2026, which is set to take place on March 11 and 12 at Piccadilly Lights in London. This is despite the BCCI recently asking KKR to end his IPL deal. With a base price of £100,000, the highest among 23 Bangladeshi players, Mustafizur Rahman leads Bangladesh's strongest-ever representation in The Hundred player pool, which also includes Litton Das, Taskin Ahmed, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Najmul Hossain Shanto. Jacob Bethell Injured Amid T20 World Cup 2026England team is set to have a nervous wait regarding the bowling availability of Jacob Bethell prior to their Super 8 encounter with Sri Lanka in Pallekele. The all-rounder injured his left ring finger while fielding against the West Indies and has been forced to wear protective strapping on it ever since. According to ICC rules, any form of hand protection must be approved by the umpires before a bowler is allowed to take the field, a situation that England have already experienced twice before. This is a worry, especially considering the spin-friendly nature of the Pallekele pitch, where Bethell had taken an incredible 4/11 against the same opposition.India Women Win T20I Series Against Australia India Women have won the series in a memorable fashion on foreign soil as they defeated Australia Women by 17 runs in the third and final T20I match in Adelaide.
