Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who put his personal life on the back seat for India’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign, is set to get married this week. Kuldeep will tie the knot with fiancée Vanshika in Uttarakhand.

Kuldeep was selected into the World Cup squad but featured in the playing XI only once. He played against Pakistan in Colombo and fetched a single wicket in his economical spell.

But now that the tournament is over, Kuldeep Yadav is set to enter an important phase of his life.

Kuldeep Yadav to get married on March 14

For context, Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his long-time partner Vanshika last year in a close-knit ceremony. However, his November wedding got delayed after he made it to India’s ICC T20 World Cup 2026 squad.

That being said, after India lifted the title on March 8, Kuldeep is set to tie the knot. According to reports, the spinner will take vows with Vanshika on March 14 at a resort in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.

The ceremony is expected to be private and intimate, with mainly close family and friends attending.

After the wedding, there will also be a grand reception on March 17 at Hotel Centrum in Lucknow, expected to include BCCI officials, Indian cricketers and important VIP guests. 

While Kuldeep Yadav made the ultimate sacrifice, his decision paid off as India won the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. The men in blue beat New Zealand by a grand margin of 96 runs in Ahmedabad to defend their title successfully.

Kuldeep sends an invitation to the UP CM

Having said that, ahead of the big day, Kuldeep’s father, Ram Singh Yadav, met Yogi Adityanath on March 8 to personally invite him to the wedding and the reception.

Apart from the CM, many highly influential people are invited to the ceremony and are expected to bless the couple. Before the wedding, the Haldi and Mehndi ceremonies are scheduled for March 13.

Kuldeep Yadav and Vanshika will get married in a traditional Hindu ceremony with all rituals lined up in the two-day grand event.

Who is Vanshika?

Vanshika is a childhood friend of Kuldeep, and the duo grew up together in Lucknow. The friendship turned into love, and the duo decided to make it official last year. 

As for her work, she reportedly works at the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), and her father was also associated with LIC previously.

However, Vanshika stays away from social media and public attention, unlike many partners of cricketers. Hence, not much is known about her day-to-day life and her love story with the Indian cricketer.

For Kuldeep Yadav, the wedding comes at a crucial point in life. He just won the World Cup for India and will soon start preparations for the IPL 2026 season, where he will represent the Delhi Capitals.
