India vs New Zealand, 2nd T20I Toss | PC- AFP
India and New Zealand are back in for the second bout of the five-match T20I series. Hagley Oval at Christchurch will remain the venue for the IND vs NZ 2nd T20I as well. Shreyas Iyer, yet again, called it right at the toss. The visitors will bowl first.
The Blackcaps lost the previous fixture despite posting their highest-ever T20I total at home. However, the spinners did a fine job, giving away just 76 runs in eight overs between Mitchell Santner and Michael Bracewell, while the fast bowlers had a poor day at the office.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gets a nod, replaces injured Ishan Kishan
The biggest news of the day is the inclusion of 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the Indian Playing XI vs New Zealand, as predicted earlier.
With Ishan Kishan out of the second T20I due to an injury, Sooryavanshi replaces him. That said, it will be interesting to see how the teenager performs at number three, as Shreyas Iyer confirmed at the toss.
The BlackCaps, on the other hand, have made just one change to the New Zealand Playing XI vs India. Jacob Duffy replaces Adam Milne in their starting 11.

India vs New Zealand: Who has the advantage after toss?
With a late scheduled start to the game, the team batting second will ease off due to the dew factor. Thus, Team India will be the happier side among the two teams after the toss.
That said, the Indian bowlers will need to bounceback after their performance in the IND vs NZ 1st T20I. Not everyday, 226 runs will get chased down. Thus, experienced men like Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Axar Patel will need to take the responsibility.
Meanwhile, the Blackcaps are well known for using home conditions to their advantage.
