In the latest ICC player rankings, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan surged 4 spots to a big move inside the top 10 to secure the third spot in the Men’s T20I batters rankings. Farhan starred for Pakistan against the USA in the T20 World Cup 2026 on February 10, scoring 73 off 41 balls to power his side to 190-9.

Moreover, in the previous game against the Netherlands, he top-scored once again with 47. Those two knocks have pushed him up from seventh in the world to third, from a rating of 722 to 769 points. Notably, Farhan is also closing in on his personal best rating of 782 points.

Sikandar Raza replaces Saim Ayub, becomes top-ranked T20I all-rounder

Apart from that, Zimbabwe’s T20 World Cup star, Sikandar Raza, has been rewarded for his performances in his side’s strong start to the 2026 ICC men’s T20I World Cup. The Zimbabian captain regained the No.1 spot in the latest ICC T20I all-rounder rankings.

The development came after Zimbabwe, under his leadership, registered an impressive 8-eight wicket win over the Oman in the World T20 tournament. Raza’s all-round efforts with the bat and the ball saw the legend surge up to the top spot, pushing Pakistan's Saim Ayub down to second.

Apart from Raza, his teammate, Brian Bennett, also aquired the 19th spot, skipping 2 spots following his 48* against Oman. On the other hand, West Indies' Romario Shepherd also moved from tenth to seventh in the rankings.

Latest ICC player rankings: Other notable developments

While India opener Abhishek Sharma remained the top-ranked T20I batter in the ICC Rankings, New Zealand’s Tim Seifert comes one place up to eighth. Moreover, Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis skiped six spots to secure the 12th.

That being said, India captain Suryakumar Yadav, who had rushed five places to seventh in the previous ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings following a prolific run in the five-match home series against New Zealand, which India won 4-1, remains at his spot. His innings of unbeaten 84 off 49, in India's T20 World Cup 2026 campiagn opener against the Monank Patel-led USA, further solidified SKY's stature as a T20I batter

On top of that, India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy maintained his place at the top of the list for T20I bowlers, holding an advantage over Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed. Meanwhile, Wanindu Hasaranga, who has recently been ruled out of the upcoming 2026 T20 World Cup due to a hamstring injury, comes one place above to secure the fifth spot.

No place for USA's T20 WC hero in top 100 bowlers in ICC Player Rankings

During the T20 World Cup 2026, several players have shown their mettle early in the tournament, thus causing a stir in the ICC Player Rankings. However, the USA allrounder, Shadley van Schalkwyk, who currently tops the charts with the most wickets in the tournament so far, 8 scalps in just 2 matches, failed to find a place in the top 100 of the ICC’s T20I bowlers rankings.
