Hardik Pandya has begun an intensive training programme for himself as part of his preparations for next year’s 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup. The legendary all-rounder has mapped rigorous time-table for his stay at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
It is worth noting that not long ago, Pandya rented a villa close to the centre, and will continue to remain settled in the city in India’s road towards the showpiece event next year.
Hardik Pandya bowling 12 overs a day
As per sources close to the Revsportz, Hardik Pandya has devised an intense training routine at the BCCI CoE in a bid to fine-tune himself for the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in South Africa and Zimbabwe next year.
The report states that the legendary Indian all-rounder has been bowling 12 overs a day in multiple spells, and often bowls five to six overs in succession. The cricketer’s aim is to build endurance and to prepare for real match conditions.

In a bid to tackle fast and short-pitched deliveries on sturdy South African surfaces, the cricketer has also been batting on concrete and tiled surfaces with a plastic ball. He is likely using plastic balls considering they skid sharply off the hard surface, thus preparing him to judge the line and length of the ball in as less time as possible.
The 32-year-old also faces throwdowns from either specialist or local bowlers. The cricketer begins his day with 15 to 20 minutes of taping and usually spends an hour at the gym.
It is worth noting that Hardik Pandya reportedly starts his routine at around 4 pm. The report further states that the cricketer specifically chose that time slot to practice without facing any distractions, considering most of the players already leave the facility by then.
Hardik Pandya in rehabilitation mode after injury
The 32-year-old Indian all-rounder recently missed the ODI series at home against Afghanistan, and was also excluded from the national squad for the white-ball tours of Ireland and England.
The cricketer is suffering from a quadricep injury concern, and is currently rehabilitating to attain full recovery and achieve match fitness.
Moreover, Pandya even made the BCCI CoE his permanent training base, doing so to the extent of relocating from Mumbai to Bengaluru by keeping next year’s 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup in mind.
Hardik Pandya’s recent form
The senior Indian cricketer recently led the Mumbai Indians franchise in the IPL 2026 season. In 10 matches of the tournament, the seasoned all-rounder aggregated 206 runs at an average of 22.88.
With the ball, he picked up just four wickets at a dismal bowling average of 64.75.
Prior to the IPL 2026 season, Pandya played a key role in starring in Team India’s historic win at the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at home.
As of now, Hardik Pandya stands as one of the seniormost white-ball players in the team, and his presence will surely be crucial to India’s chances for the 2027 World Cup.
