The stage is set for a riveting IPL 2026 battle as the Gujarat Titans take on the Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The Shubman Gill-led side has already sealed their playoff place, while CSK need to beat the Titans to somehow stay alive in the playoff qualification race.

GT defeated the Super Kings, the last time these two teams met at the Chepauk, and the hosts, will once again start as favourites as they aim to seal their top two spot with a win.

The Gujarat Titans have a stellar home record in the IPL, and to breach the fortress, CSK have to play out of their skin, but their task becomes difficult due to several players being either injured/ or out of form.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was happy to bowl first as the chasing teams have a better record at this venue. CSK have made two changes, with Akeal Hosein out and Gurjapneet Singh back in the side.

Also, the side has made a surprising change to replace Prashant Veer with Matt Short. On the other hand, GT have also made one key change, with Prasidh Krishna, who has been in and out of the side getting another chance vs the CSK side.
