The International Cricket Council (ICC), on May 28, 2026, has announced the match officials for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup tournament. The tournament is set to be hosted by England and Wales from June 12 to July 5, 2026.
There are a total of 12 teams participating in the tournament, which have been divided into two groups of six teams each. Ireland and Scotland are in Group B, which also includes England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies.
India and Pakistan women are slotted in Group B
Group A includes Australia, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands. India and Pakistan will clash on June 14 in Edgbaston in a high-voltage clash, while hosts England will clash with Sri Lanka in the tournament's opening match on June 12.
Meanwhile, the ICC has unveiled an all-women official’s lineup for the third consecutive edition demonstrating such commitment. There will be four officials making their T20 World Cup debut in this edition, while nine have been retained from the previous T20 World Cup 2024 edition.

Four Indians were named in the all-women officials list by the ICC
The 18-person all-female list of ICC match officials, which will oversee the Women's T20 World Cup starting on June 12 in England and Wales, includes four Indian officials, including match referee GS Lakshmi.
Shathira Jakir Jesy, Kerrin Klaaste, Candace La Borde, and Gayathri Venugopalan are scheduled to make their tournament debuts. The other two Indians on the umpires' roster are Vrinda Rathi and Janani N.
Along with Jacquline Williams and Kim Cotton, who are both making their fifth World Cup appearances, Australian umpire Claire Polosak, who is highly regarded for her experience, is preparing for her sixth.
Returning match referees Shandre Fritz, GS Lakshmi, and Michell Pereira will team up with New Zealand's Trudy Anderson.

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta praised the panel's creation as a reflection of progress and a sign of higher officiating standards ahead of the world's largest women's sporting event.
