Bhuvneshwar Kumar has sent shockwaves amongst the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans after he revealed his future team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This comes after Bhuvneshwar Kumar appeared in an interview with RCB mascot Mr. Nags.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been in terrific form in the IPL 2026 and became the first team to qualify for the IPL 2026 final. They defeated Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 1 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala on May 26.
RCB makes it into their second Indian Premier League final in a row
Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first. Royal Challengers Bengaluru demonstrated their intention to record a strong total because they were aware of the need to do so.
Virat Kohli scored 43 and Devdutt Padikkal scored 30 for RCB at the top. However, Rajat Patidar was the driving force behind RCB's record IPL playoff total. In his 93* knock, Patidar hit five fours and nine sixes. Krunal Pandya, who also scored 43 and led RCB to 254/5 in 20 overs, supported him.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and co. blow away the Gujarat Titans
Jos Buttler (29) and Sai Sudharsan (14) were strong for a while, but GT's innings never took off.After losing a lot of wickets, GT scored 162 thanks to Rahul Tewatia's 68. Jacob Duffy amassed 3/39 for RCB, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rasikh Salam, and Krunal Pandya each claimed two wickets.
RCB qualified to the IPL 2026 final, which will take place in Ahmedabad on May 31, after winning by 92 runs.

Recently, Bhuvneshwar Kumar appeared on the RCB Insiderโs show with their mascot, Mr. Nags. During the conversation, Nags asked Bhuvneshwar Kumar about his favorite color, and Kumar revealed that it was 'blue and gold.'
Mr. Nags immediately caught this mistake and stated that he should be in the Mumbai Indians then, making Bhuvneshwar Kumar blush.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru to face either Rajasthan Royals or Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026 final
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the defending champions of the IPL, have made it into their second straight final of the tournament. They will face the winner of the Qualifier 2 in the final on May 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
GT lost to RCB in Qualifier 1, and RR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator to qualify for Qualifier 2. RR and GT will now clash in Qualifier 2 on May 29, at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh.
