Fakhar Zaman Asked To Donate 1 Crore Rupees At 1 AM; Pakistan Cricketer Reacts

While several cricketers have been known to do charity to help others, Pakistan's veteran cricketer Fakhar Zaman's recent act of donation has left the cricketing community as well as fans stunned.

Recently, a UAE-based electronics retailer Zam Zam Electronics, widely known on social media as 'Bara Bhai' and 'Chhota Bhai', asked Fakhar Zaman live on a YouTube podcast for a massive amount of donation, to which the Pakistan cricketer's response was precious.

Fakhar Zaman Gets A Demand Of 1 Crore Rupees

The brothers, while doing a live on their YouTube podcast at 1 AM, asked Fakhar Zaman for one crore rupees. Notably, during that appearance, the host asked the brothers whether any Pakistan cricketer would trust them enough to send money on their request without asking any questions. 

The brothers replied that Zaman is their favourite player and might help them with the funds they need in an emergency.

Soon after, the host asked them to try whether Fakhar would send the one crore rupees on a direct call or not. The brothers called him on the spot, and after Fakhar's son picked up the call, he handed it to his father. 

The brothers greeted Fakhar Zaman and asked him how he had been doing, to which Fakhar replied that he was fine. Then the brothers asked whether he was asleep or not, to which Zaman replied, "No, I was just lying down with my child."

Fakhar Reacts To Donating The Money

After that, the brothers came directly to the point, asking Fakhar Zaman that someone in Pakistan urgently needed one crore rupees, to which Fakhar's reaction was a precious one, and his response shocked the listeners. 

Fakhar replied, "If it's urgent, I will try to arrange it. Send me the account number, I will talk to my brother, he handles these matters. If it's not possible immediately, it will definitely be done by 9 AM" 

When asked if Zaman needed to consult anyone regarding the matter or to talk with the person who needed this fund, Zaman replied, "No, it will be arranged, don't worry."

Fakhar Zaman's net worth is estimated to be approximately $5 million US dollars, or PKR 141 crores. Being one of the top-earning Pakistani cricketers, his wealth has been primarily generated from his international cricket career and also from playing franchise leagues in multiple countries. 

With brand endorsements also being one of his primary sources of income, he earns a significant amount of money, which allows him to make charitable contributions at times.

Fakhar's Recent Red Hot Form In Cricket

Fakhar has been playing the Pakistan Super League 2026 currently. His form has also been decent, as he has made consistent runs with the bat. So far, from the five matches he has played for the Lahore Qalandars, Zaman has scored at an average of 35.75 while striking at 145.92.

While having two half-centuries already in PSL 2026, his contributions have been gold for the Qalandars, as the veteran batter has been anchoring the top-order responsibilities for the franchise. 

In the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 just prior to the PSL, it was also something that Zaman would not forget. He featured in just two matches during Pakistan's Super 8 clashes against England cricket team and Sri Lanka cricket team.

In both these instances, Zaman scored decently. Against England, Fakhar scored a 16-ball 25, while against Sri Lanka, Fakhar Zaman managed to bag a total of 84 runs from just 42 deliveries. Overall, he has been in solid form in 2026 and would look to continue his good run in the future.
