The Kolkata Knight Riders are set to face the five-time IPL winners, Mumbai Indians, at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on May 20 at 7:30 PM (IST), as their season hangs by a thread.

Despite going winless for the first half of the league phase, KKR have staged a commendable comeback and find themselves alive in the tournament. While their destiny is not in their hands, they can still finish fourth if they win their remaining games.

According to Accuweather, the weather will be pleasant on the night after a hot day. The temperature is expected to be 29°C with a 17 km/hr wind, which could help the seamers upfront with the new ball. Like previous matches here, there is a significant possibility of rain.

The 65 per cent probability of rain means there could be interruptions due to bad weather, and like the wind, the overcast conditions, i.e., 54 per cent cloud cover, could help the new ball bowlers. Apart from the aforementioned things, 1.5 hours of rain are predicted for the night.

Kolkata is a small venue, where the boundary is easy to clear for ball strikers like Finn Allen and Rohit Sharma for their respective teams.
