At the same time, Dasun Shanaka charged quickly from the non-striker’s end. However, Dhruv Jurel suddenly changed his mind after noticing the fielder moving towards the ball.
Unfortunately, Dasun Shanaka had already committed fully to the run. Both batters ended up at the same side of the pitch, creating complete confusion in the middle.
Shardul Thakur briefly fumbled while collecting the ball. Even then, he recovered quickly and threw the ball towards the bowler’s end. Bosch also struggled slightly while gathering the throw. Still, he managed to remove the bails in time.

As a result, Dasun Shanaka’s entertaining innings came to an unfortunate end. The Sri Lankan all-rounder walked back after scoring a valuable 29 runs from just 15 balls. Notably, Rajasthan Royals lost their fourth wicket at an important stage and slipped to 100/4.
