Hardik Pandya punished by BCCI for IPL misconduct
Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has been fined 10 percent of his match fees by the BCCI for breaching Level 1 of the IPL Code of Conduct. During Mumbai Indians’ away match against the KKR in Kolkata, the all-rounder knocked the bails out of the stumps with force while he was walking back to his run-up in the tenth over of the innings.

Pandya admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction imposed by the match referee.
Anukul Roy replaces Harsh Dubey in India A squad
KKR all-rounder Anukul Roy has been called-up to play for the India A team in the upcoming tri-nation series in Sri Lanka. The cricketer was included in the 15-player squad as a replacement of Harsh Dubey.
It is worth noting that Harsh himself has been selected in Team India squad for the home series against Afghanistan, which is set to coincide with the tri-series.
MS Dhoni spends entire IPL 2026 without playing
MS Dhoni was ruled out of CSK’s final league match of the IPL 2026 season against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. His latest exclusion means that the legendary wicketkeeper-batter spent the entire season without playing a single game, doing so for the first time in his storied IPL career.
Earlier, Dhoni was ruled out of the initial stage of the tournament owing to a calf strain. He has since spent much of his time in rehabilitation.
CSK knocked out of IPL 2026 playoffs race
The CSK franchise has been knocked out of the IPL 2026 playoffs race. Taking on the Gujarat Titans in a must-win game in Ahmedabad, CSK failed to chase down their 230-run target.
Losing the match by 89 runs, the outcome marked CSK’s eighth defeat this IPL 2026 season, as they remain stranded on 12 points from 14 games. After LSG and Mumbai Indians, they became the third side to get knocked out of the competition.
Rajat Patidar set for RCB return
Regular RCB skipper Rajat Patidar will be making his return to the playing XI in their upcoming final league match of the IPL 2026 season against the SRH. A few days ago, the cricketer was dropped from the team owing to an injury concern, prompting Jitesh Sharma to take over leadership responsibility on an interim basis against the Punjab Kings.
The match between RCB and SRH will be played in Hyderabad on May 22.
