Cameron Green Six - (Source: ScreenGrab/IPL)
Cameron Green finally returned to form against the Gujarat Titans. The star Australian all-rounder played the best knock of his season and scored a brilliant 79 (55). The 26-year-old scored seven fours and four sixes.
More than a brilliant knock, what was special to see was his contribution to the team when they were in trouble. Notably, KKR, batting first, were reduced to 32/3, which is when Cameron Green walked to bat. The star all-rounder started slowly and steadily but shifted gears at the right time.
Cameron Green Dents Car With His Monstrous Shot
To pinpoint the over when Cameron Green shifted gears was when Rashid Khan was brought into attack. Notably, in the 12th over of the game, Cameron Green whacked Rashid for a six while dancing down the track.
He extended his run in the 13th over when Ashik Sharma came into the attack. On the 3rd ball of the 13th over, Cameron Green whacked Ashok Sharma for a maximum, which actually dented the Tata Sierra car. Notably, it is a rare sight when the batter actually gets to hit the car. The fans were amazed to see Green denting the car.
The visuals of the same quickly went viral on social media, and even the IPL 2026 too posted the same on their social media.

What Happens If You Hit The Advertising Car In IPL?
For the unversed, IPL will take an action as there is more meaning to car present in the stadium than just advertisement and sponsorship. According to Tata, who are the league's sponsors and car manufacturers, they have a special provision in place if a player breaks the glass of the car with a six.

Therefore, Tata Motors in collaboration with IPL, donates ₹5 lakh (or ₹10 lakh in some instances) to a charity or, frequently, provides cricket kits to rural youth, as part of a sponsorship initiative.
In this case, the donation is unlikely because Cameron Green's shot did not break the windshielf but just dented it. However, in the past, the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Ruturaj Gaikwad have hit the car, resulting in Tata Motors donating the pledged amount to charity.
Cameron Green's Death Over Blunder Costs KKR
For the unversed, KKR were 148/4 after 15 overs and were well on course for a big total. Cameron Green too was looking in great touch and had the opportunity to score a century. However, in the last five overs, KKR scored just 32 runs and lost six wickets.

It was a collapse but Cameron Green was to be blamed because he stayed until the last ball of the innings and yet didn't push to keep strike with him. He hardly batted in the last five overs and Kolkata Knight Riders eventually put 180 runs on the board.
