Yet another season of the first and only Pro-Am T20 tournament, the Big Cricket League (BCL), is fast approaching. It aims to bring professional legends of the game and the best amateurs into the same competitive field.

The Big Cricket League returns after a year-long hiatus, last played in 2024. However, the wait will be worth it when the six teams play 18 matches featuring cricket legends like Chris Gayle, Ross Taylor, Shikhar Dhawan, Thisara Perera, Harbhajan Singh & Tillakaratne Dilshan, among others.

That being said, here’s the BCL 2 schedule, squads, venues, and live-streaming details for the highly anticipated tour.

Big Cricket League 2026 Schedule, Fixtures, Start Date

Previously scheduled to take place from 11th March to 22nd March 2026, the season 2 will start on June 3 at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Cricket Stadium, Greater Noida.

The decision to postpone the came in light of the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, which had created uncertainty around international travel and the availability of overseas players.

Big Cricket League Rules & Format Explained

World’s first-ever Pro-Am cricket league follows the rules and format below:

  • The tournament is played in a round-robin format, with all six teams playing five matches each, once against each team during the group stage.
  • The teams finishing in the top 4 by the end of the league stage qualify for the knockout stage.
  • The knockout stage consists of two semi-finals, followed by the championship clash, the final.
  • All matches are played in the T20 format; each team faces 20 overs per innings, subject to standard Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) adjustments in the event of weather interruptions.
  • Two points are awarded for a win, zero for a loss, and one point each in the event of a no-result or tie.
  • In the event of equal points at the end of the league stage, Net Run Rate (NRR) is used to determine the final standings.
  • All 19 matches of Season 2 will be hosted at a single venue.

Notably, CREX has joined hands with the one-of-a-kind league for the 2026 edition. As BCL Season 2 gets ready to bowl off on June 3, its partnership with CREX aims to bring fans closer to the action through interactive experiences, wider digital reach and deeper connections with the game.
