In a shocking turn of events, Ashleigh Gardner has been alleged to have cheated with Georgia Voll on her wife, Monica Wright.
The all-rounder, who is also Australia Women's co-vice-captain, was one of their mainstay in their recent triumph in the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup, where she blasted a sensational half-century against India in group stage.
Meanwhile, Voll, making her maiden T20 World Cup appearance, also performed well as Australia secured their historic seventh T20 title.

Ashleigh Gardner and Monica Wright tied the knot in a close ceremony in the Blue Mountains in April 2025. The two met on a dating app before they started dating in 2020.
The 29-year-old all-rounder's partner took to her Instagram handle, where she revealed that Gardner had cheated on her with Georgia Voll.

While responding to a report in an exclusive by the UK's leading media house, the Daily Mail, Wright has made a shocking claim on Monday (July 13).
She posted a picture of the 22-year-old top-order batter, stating, "This is who my wife cheated on me with."

If reports by the Daily Mail are to be believed, Ashleigh Gardner had ended her ties with her spouse after the 2025 Women's World Cup in India, where the Australian team bowed out to the visitors and eventual champions in the semifinal.
It all started in the marquee event, when Wright had given Gardner a surprise visit, but things went only south from there, which eventually ended their five (or six)-year-long marriage.
"Gardner and Wright had a heart-to-heart after they returned to their Northern Beaches home in Sydney following the World Cup," a Daily Mail report stated.
"'When they got home, [Gardner] goes, 'Hey, look, can we talk?' and she sat her down," it added. "The conversation effectively marked the end of the couple's marriage."
However, Wright, via her Instagram, claimed the report to be "too vague".
"Nah this shit is too vague. I'll tell you exactly what happened," the cricketer's partner wrote on her social media handle.

The Ashleigh Gardner and Monica Wright incident is not the first of its kind.
In 2025, Indian star batter Smriti Mandhana apparently ended her relationship with long-term boyfriend Palash Muchal on the eve of the wedding ceremony.
Although neither of the two ever officially stated the reason, it was then said that the marriage was postponed due to Mandhana’s father’s health.
Australian veteran spinner Nathan Lyon was also speculated to have cheated on her first wife, Mel Waring, who got to know about her husband’s affair when his intimate photographs went viral in 2017.
